Oakland Engagement Session Exploring Joaquin Miller Park and Downtown

These two contacted me just a few months before their wedding and wanted to squeeze in an engagement session before the big day and I am so glad they did!! I spent 2018 living in Oakland, so it was so fun to go back and hang out in some of my favorite spots! We started our session at Joaquin Miller Park for some shots among the gorgeous trees there, and made our way into downtown to capture some of their favorite spots (including a big mural of an elephant that the bride used to pass frequently on her way to work)! I have since shot their wedding, and let me just say — these two are so genuine and kind. I’m so glad we found each other!
