A Modern Spring Wedding at the Surf Hotel

Stacey + Brett met the old fashioned way: in college, doing shots at a bar. What they thought would be a one-off meeting turned into a long-distance relationship which turned into a life settled in Colorado with their dog, Rory. When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted to bring their families to experience the beauty of the Colorado Rockies. Given that some of their favorite things are sun, water and being together in the mountains (they got engaged at Twin Lakes, while watching Rory swim), the Surf Hotel by the Arkansas River in Buena Vista felt like the perfect fit. They chose early spring with its delicate florals and snow-capped peaks for their celebration, and it didn’t disappoint!
